I just recently cleaned a relative's computer from these type of virus. Click the button that says "Force Quit". If you click restore, it's going to re-open that naughty website that hijacked your browser, and you're going to be stuck again and have to do another hard reset. there was a loud alarm going off that freaked me out. If you Chromebook is acting funny, and you think you might have some kind of malware or malicious extension, just come to this page and follow the directions. We do have a Windows laptop that is also logged into the same Chrome account -- I'm not sure if they are synced, but I'm guessing yes. It has been over an hour and the email has not arrived.
