Any idea why..? All you have to do is open up explorer and everything returns to normal. Like much of the operating system (OS), the Taskbar was given an aesthetic and functional makeover when Windows 10 launched in 2015. Fortunately, it is a very rare occurrence for which no particular culprit has actually been identified.
Even trying to open explorer should at least give you a start button. The way to enter Safe Mode was touched on in3.1.1. i have to Use Task Manager for everything. After you’ve completed the troubleshooter, restart your device.

Before doing any of those things, though, do take the precaution of copying all your vital data, audio and picture files to removable media, as a precautionary backup.
